What did you think of Juno?

Apparently there is no middleground with this film.  Either you think it's one of the greatest indie films ever made, or you thought it was forced and irritating.  Which was it?

My choice isn't listed above but it would be (Haven't seen it, but plan on seeing it on DVD)

Loved it, except for Michael Cera, everything else was lovely especially her Parents; I love both of those actors.

I thought it was great. Michael Cera really needs to mix it up a bit. I have seen this same character way too many times.  J.K. Simmons was great and I really really wish there were more scenes with Rainn Wilson's character.

Wow, from my mind to your fingers :)

I concurr whole heartedly with all of that, especially the Michael Cera bit because that was just my problem with him.

Plus I've never seen Allison Janney in any role that I've not liked her in.

It was great and I could barely stand the main character's quirky wit, but it really was a damn good film.
I delayed seeing this film since I thought it would be too, well, quirky.  But if anyone else is putting it off for that same reason, don't worry, its not overwhelmingly cute.

And yes, Allison Janney is a fantastic actress.  I love the The West Wing, and she pretty much out-acted everyone on that show, which is saying something when looking at that cast.

See that's the thing I loved The West Wing while hating pretty much all of the central characters, except C.J.

Oh and Juno is one of the first roles for Jennifer Garner that I've not found utterly irksome.

Even John Spencer?  That speech he gave to Josh about the man falling in the hole....just great.  Or when he starts drinking in the hotel room after years of sobriety.  I'm a big WW nerd.

I loved the storyline with Garner and Bateman.  When Garner comments on his shirt.  Good shit.

Ok the Alcoholic Veep wasn't bad (though i did keep waiting for his Blues Explosion :)), and I probably have problems with the Pres because my wife tells me I'm like him, but everyone else was really irksome, the show itself though was great.

Weird

Oh another thing I liked was how they were gently mocking about her little sister. Most people I know don't think their little ones are divine just because they are little, but often in films you get that impression.

I loved it.  Ellen Page is brilliant in a role that could've been annoying, and the supporting cast are excellent.  I do agree that Michael Cera's character is one that's been done before - and it is hard to see what Juno sees in him - but I think he's very good at the type of role.

It's a bit disappointing to see so many votes for "not interested," because this is one of those movies where there's nothing particularly spectacular to draw me to it, but I knew from word-of-mouth and the talent involved that I'd probably enjoy it.  My initial gut reaction to it was "whatever," and it wound up being like my favorite movie of the year.  The only people who shouldn't see it are those who decide they're not going to like it before seeing it.

I think thats the only character MIchael Cera can play.

I do indeed fall in the middle on this movie.  I definitely enjoyed it but I don't think I would call it 'great'.
I've sort of fused Flashdance with MC Hammer shit.

Fuzzy Necromancer

I saw it and heartily enjoyed it. The humor was just right for me. The acting, the sets, the characters, the dialogue, everything dripped with authenticity.

I laughed, I cried. I give it two thumbs up.

Yeah I went last thursday to see what everyone was talking about, and quite enjoyed it. then watched Superbad on friday, George Micheal does need to expand his range a little.

Michael Cera's been in one tv show and two movies. He's 19 years old. I'm not sure if it's fair to say "that's all he does" at this point.
