Two? I'm intrigued. I imagine they will somehow make it super easy and we'll still blow it.

Well, the movie's one of two choices: Batman & Robin or Plan 9.  So, unless people start asking crazy questions, we're guaranteed to win this one.
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

Does the movie contain a rudimentary lathe?

What is this actually a reference to, if I may ask?

The line came from the movie Galaxy Quest, and in one of the 20 q games, someone posed that very question, to the guffaws and knee-slaps of many forum members. It is now a classic of the Rifftrax forum.

You know, why the boys are together, they could RECORD Batman and Robin and Plan 9, but release them at a later date and they may not be the next one to come out.

I think anything is fair game....... AS LONG AS IT IS GYMKATA!!!!!

SwordKing

They've already released Plan 9 From Outer Space though. It's in the VOD section of the catalog.

But that's only with Mike riffing. The speculation is that they'll release a three-riffer version EDIT today /EDIT.

It's not speculation.  They are releasing a new version of Plan 9 with all three riffers, and it is 99% likely that is what they are announcing today.

This is reasonable. The live show, being two days away, must have already been written, so it will probably be released first. The Batman and Robin riff is, as far as I know, still in the editing stage.

I think I know how we should do this.

Question 1: Was the movie made before 1990?

If it's yes, it's Plan 9. If it's no, it's Batman and Robin. Easy as pie.

Unless, of course, it's neither. Then we're in a real pickle.

You're thinking too hard. Ask if it's Plan 9 first, no more questions to deal with if yes. Just ask the other one if no.

Is it for all time this feeling of joy?

Is it a shocking expose' of souls in bondage?

This time, is it personal?
I thought I was Dale.

No, there's a part where Guy tells the captain to try to form some kind of rudimentary lathe when he is battling the stone monster.  It just comes out of left field.
