I love Vic Berger.  He recently uploaded a powerful video following the recent attacks in Las Vegas that was extremely and brilliantly unsettling.

It's mostly not unsettling the way you might think of, though it does use the sounds of the gun shots and a very brief non-graphic clips from the Vegas shooting.  It's not unsettling in a "crosses the line of good taste way" so much as it is "this is the state of our conversation about gun culture" sort of way.  That said, I still won't post it here, but that's mostly because it should probably belong in the politics thread.

Angry Video Game Nerd can be pretty hit or miss.  In honesty, I probably hate more episodes than I like.  But his newest episode, about the urban legend video game Polybius, was pretty cool.  I thought it was going to be a typical review, but it turns into this really fascinating psychological thriller.  It may be one of his best videos yet.

I had never heard of the Polybius legend before, and it was pretty cool to learn about it.

I thought it was just kinda weird. One of my favorites from the past year was his reviews of the bad Megaman games.

Probably dogs, because they come when they're called, they will stay at your side for hours, and they love attention. The only thing cats won't do is come when they're called... normally. But cats can still be very supportive.

Gets me every time. If you can play Contra games, you can play this. The difficulty is somewhat exaggerated. And yes, it is gorgeous. I will admit though, by the time I beat the Devil, I had died over 500 times. And that was on Normal.
