Cin Tit Gets a Nod from Rolling Stone

[Dim of the Yard]

Cinematic Titanic has sneaked its way into Rolling Stone's Top Ten.  It's just at number ten, coming in under the new season of The Wire.

Cinematic Titanic
On Cinematic Titanic.com, Mystery Science Theater 3000 creator Joel Hodgson and his sarcastic sidekicks riff on Z-grade monster movies.  YOu can order a DVD of their commentary on The Oozing Skull, a 1972 flick about an alien seeking a new body: "I eant to live...," croaks one strange-looking victim, and the peanut gallery quips, "... as a she-male!"

The list also inclused Stephen King's new book, Devil May Cry 4, and the new season of Lost is at the top of the list.

Sure, it's not too big a mention, but it's a nod from a big-name magazine.  I think that's pretty groovy.

I missed seeing the alien in the Oozing Skull.  Is that in the special features somewhere?  Or is this a reference to how he was smuggled into the country illegally, and thus was an illegal alien?

It is that level of attention to detail that made Rolling Stone what it is today.
