There will be blood

[Artie]

Has anyone seen this yet?

I saw it over the weekend, and it is a fantastic movie.  Powerful performances and emotionally draining.  It should win Best Picture this year.

And yes, there is blood.

[Variety of Cells]

It's a great film.  Doesn't feel like the 2 hours and 45 minutes that it is because it's always engaging and interesting.  Daniel Day-Lewis was amazing.
I don't know how you could ask for a better performance.  And although they advertise it as a very serious and dark film, which it is, Daniel's character can be really funny.  Especially in the last scene.

Mild spolier
From what I hear, Daniel was always in character on set.  Most people thought it was great, but he scared the hell out of one of the actors, the one who tells Daniel the location of the oil.  He thought Daniel was going to kill him.  Eventually he broke down and quit the film, he just couldn't do it any more.  So they replaced him with Paul Dano (the preacher) and re shot his scenes.  That's why the Sunday brothers are twins.

And for those who have seen the film...
