The Grudge? Awesome.

And hey! Bill Pullman has been great in some things.  Zero Effect, The Last Seduction, Lost Highway...

Whoops, musn't let that slip out, musn't we?

There are two versions of the Grudge available. I am assuming it will be the first release (Theatrical) that gets riffed:

Can we get some confirmation on which version was used for the riffing??  The original DVD release (shown above) is 91 minutes.  The newer "Director's Cut" release (shown below) is 98 minutes.

Crap, there are two versions?  I ran straight out and bought the original cut used this afternoon when the announcement was made.
Think about it, won't you?

My money is on the original release as they go for the ones that have been out longer. xXx had the same kind of release and they used the original.

Better be careful, or the horror movie sprite will show up to remove all horror movies from the world.

I actually kind of liked The Grudge, but I can see it being very ripe for riffing too.

Another movie that I already own.   No more strange looks from store clerks..... well, besides the ones I normally get.

Shinigami

yeah... you're probably still gonna get looks from your frequent rentals of "Back Door Sluts 9"

That's true, I forgot XXX having the same problem with multiple versions.  Both versions of The Grudge are still in print, so I'd guess that they used the theatrical cut.  No way to be sure until we get some official word though.

Tarantulas

Congrats on getting the answer correct (again), David!

It is the theatrical one pictured about.  Lord knows what additional stupidity they could have added into the directors cut.  But don't get the directors cut, it won't work.
