So, any news on that mystical MAC version?

Could've used it this past week.  I was on a business trip and the hotel lost their internet connection for a day.

The lack of update is kinda concerning.  They're just teasing us by throwing it into the occasional survey on the main page.

As a long time Mac user I feel your pain ... It's kinda strange to see Macs get so popular in the last few years. Mac has the best design and OS ... however

...honestly I recommend that Mac users own a cheap PC to complement their Macs. I use both because I find it easier to burn DVDs on PC. Plus there are killer apps that are PC exclusive like the Rifftrax player and Netflix Watch Now. When it comes to Photoshop and Microsoft Office I prefer Mac. Plus the Mac OS is stable as hell.

But that's the beauty of the intel macs, you can run windows on them.  Now if I could only get the Rifftrax player to WORK in windows.

Yeah,  I actually have a few PCs.  1 tower running XP, one laptop running Vista, one laptop that is currently without an OS on it (I won it in a raffle from work for a buck), and my Mac Powerbook.

Unfortunately the laptop with Vista is my wife's and she doesn't let me take it on business trips.

Sadly my Powerbook is from before they had Intel, so I'm SOL on trying to run Windows I'm afraid.  (Not that it'd help from what I've been hearing.)

Maybe they're waiting until the survey hits a certain percentage demanding Mac-ified Rifftrax Players?

I second the Mac rant.  Please, oh please make a Mac version ASAP.  I will gleefully line your coffers with coin as soon as this is done!

And were still here, waiting...

I especially need it now since the motherboard on my PC died last weekend.

:grr:

My riffplayer is working fine on my Macbook Pro.  I have Vista x86 installed using Bootcamp 2.0.  I have k-lite codec pack installed and no other dvd software.  Also only using the Windows Media Player MPEG-2 codec.

I don't think I can run Bootcamp on my Mac.  It's pre-Intel.

I was thinking about getting a Man-mini and setting it up to my big screen TV. The smallest PC is still way to big and I didnt want to get a laptop. Then get a wireless keyboard and mouse to control from the couch. (Am I lazy as hell or what?) I thought it was a great idea until I heard all of the problemd with parallel. Just make it easy on us and make a Mac version and let me have the setup of my dreams!!! :highfive:
If there was a transformer that was a hybrid, do you think the other Autobots would make fun of him or be envious?

You should get a Woman-Mini.
