Be careful what you wish for. My wife got all hyped up after Ep 3 and then we watched all 6 in a row one weekend. Actually burned me out on it for a while.

There's also the issue of women liking something that you like for compeltely the wrong reason.... For exmple:
My gf at the time liked LOTR /not/ for the hack/slash/kill-the-orc awesomeness, but for.... Viggo Mortensen. Which of course spoiled EVERY awesome moment with him on the screen.
What else.... there was one of my gf's obsessions with Mel Gibson, which was the only reason why she liked Braveheart and Patriot.
And this one chica was obsessed with Gerard Butler, which ruined the Phantom of the Opera for me.
And then the king of them all. Pirates of the Carribean. I am flippin' ECSTATIC that Depp is getting married, cuz flippin' EVERYONE loves him haha.

I want to comment on the "Girls ruin the movie" comments. SOME ladies think the romance and the cutesy stuff ruins it, but you know sometimes it adds to the movie. Please tell me I'm not the only one that though the smooching scene between Johnny and Keira was unnecessary? Plus, the beginning when she's sitting in the rain, in her dress. Gimme a break! That dress would be ruined!
