Add another home run to the score!

All the right buttons were pushed.

My favorites:

Deb Called....  Again....

Special agent "Pete" Pan.

Guests of The Matrix stay at the...

The now infamous George Michael joke   :o

all the references of Switch being a man

Kevin's astoundingly funny "old lady" on the other end of the phone!

the Agents talking with eachother. "We're all very excited about it."

Mike's comment about the S&M bar at the beginning

Keanu dreaming of a naked, surfing Patrick Swayze

Mike and Kevin elluding to the upcoming Star Wars riff   ;D

and so on...

Oh yeah, and all the "whoa"s!

Also, if you're find yourself entirely too curious about The Wachowskis, please feel free to check out this Rolling Stone article on the mysteriously androgynous Larry.  It's a fun article although I would say that most of the sources seem to be motivated by negative biases.

OMG!!!!!  :o

Holy crap, I feel so dirty just reading that thing!!!

yuck.

This was definitely one of the best. One of the things I love about rifftrax is when Mike or Kevin or Bill comment on something that you have always thought about. For example, when Cypher says it would take some sort of miracle to stop him and Kevin says well why don't we get the writer to produce one. That made me laugh my ass off because I've always thought of that whenever I've heard that line. Anyone else feel the same way about this or other rifftrax?

Aaahh! This movie just throws you violently into the next scene!

Tyrant

Yeah, I feel that way. Seems some of the storylines of the riffed movies have so many convenient plot points as to 1) make the lead character look/be important, 2) end a scene that really had no ending (Mike:" Not sure how to end a scene in a movie? Just END it!"), and 3) show nudity.

Good observation. Glad someone else mentioned it.

I laughed out loud quite frequently during this rifftrax.  I haven't the patience to read the quoted riffs on this topic so I won't type mine, but I will say that the fight scenes were amazing.  This was a great blend of comedy and pretty pictures. If the comedy was every lacking it was still fun to watch.  This was the first riffed movie that I really enjoy on it's own, and I must say that it wasn't hard at all to respect the film after it was riffed.

Yeah, for me, this one was the strongest showing outside of Roadhouse.  The riffs just seemed really on point, and Mike and Kevin were very engaged with the film throughout.   The movie's solemn air of self-importance probably also helped to make this rifftrax go down like a welcome, juicy piece of matrix steak.

Beyond the general humor, I appreciated their takes on the 'orgies of violence' ("wait, gotta go back to the car bangbangmurderdeathbloodhorror!") and some of the philosophy presented, when it seemed a bit fudged ("the Oracle told you what you needed to hear." "bullshit').

Don't get me wrong, I find The Matrix movie to be quality piece of entertainment based on some intriguing concepts -- but I did enjoy M&K taking the piss out of it, too.  (All those fluids!)

As a computer tech, my fav riff was:
"What is that? Fake-intosh?"

Seriously, I remember having one of those green monochrome monitors on an old Apple IIc back in the day.

Cap'n UKRiffer

Just got through watching it, thought it was brilliant.

So many great lines, the "i wasn't going to kiss him full on the lips" was brilliant as was Kevins comment of the Oracle going Yoda for a second.

Was it better then the previous Kevin/Mike rifftrax 'Halloween'? My thoughts are no, i still thought that was better even if The Matrix was a better film.

How hard was it to do that gammer73?  This could revolutionize quoting our favorite riffs if it isn't too difficult.

Easy!!
I just used an mpeg editor (mpeg2vcr) to edit out that scene from my 're-authored' DVD. Then I uploaded it to my photobucket account. Then photobucket automatically converted it to an flv file. Posted the link here on the forum and voila!

the famous internet fad that went with that scene used to be...

(fart noise)
"you think that's air your breathing?"

SecretAgentSuperDragon

"So, little baby think's he's breathing air, huh? Little baby air-breather."

I just love Morpheus's expression synced up with that line. Priceless.

Tony Farms AKA Puma Man

I was literally on the floor when Mike said the infamous line from Roadhouse: "Pain don't hurt!"

This was the best one, it'll be hard to top.
