Personally I think it depends if Mike still stays in contact with them or not. I dont think he does, but you never know!?!?

I think that Trace or Joel would be the next best candidate, as they have the experience.

I know in an interview(teevee.org i think) he said Trace was a possibility, although he does seem happy at AFV. But he said maybe a one-off rifftrax would be fun.

Or what about Paul Schersten or Chaplin or whichever he prefers to be known as?  I'd love to hear what he sounds like riffing a movie.  Or what about "The Dublin Hammer" himself, Jim Mallon?  Or how about reaching into the waaaayback machine and bringing in Josh "J. Elvis" Weinstein?  I don't know if any of these would ever happen, but it would be neat if it did.

I think it would be great if they could increase the riffers to three per episode.  Mike is a whole lot funnier when he's not carrying the ball solo.  I especially would love to see Mary Jo do one with Mike.  Her one venture into the MST3K theater showed a lot of promise that was unfortunately never realized.

As much as we love our old favorites, I think it would be interesting to get some new riffing blood too.

There's got to be funny people, besides DA, in the rifftrax home office.  Why do we have to keep sticking to just Mike + former MST3k staff.
