I never knew this

In an interview with John Carpenter, he revealed that he did use a William Shatner/Star Trek mask for Michael Myers.....I wonder if Mike or Kevin knew that when they were writing the riffs about "the guy in the Shatner mask".

Yeah, that's been pretty well known for years now. I'm positive that the guys must've heard about it before they wrote that riff.
