as a lawyer hank do you feel that the concept of massive amounts of lawyers to win a little insulting?  i kinda, whether its true or not id like to think that sheer logic can guide the legal process.  it probably doesnt but what are your feelings?

Hank

My feelings for cases like these (corporate) are that whomever has the biggest shovel, wins. If the defendant can be buried in paperwork (meaning fees, time delays, etc.) until it is not viable to continue the case, then the defendant, who is usually of less monetary wealth than the corporation, "loses" by virtue of being bled and buried into submission.

I try not to be a cynic, but often the courts can be much less than logical. I'm not sure if I answered your question. I believe that you are asking if it's insulting to drop a nuke on a squirrel, and I would have to say yes, it is very insulting and a complete waste of time.

Indeed.  It is unfortunate that this is what its all come to. :(

It's the legal equivalent of the corporations going "all in" like its some sort of giant poker game.

Consumers lose every time.
