Alright I have a eerily coincidental story about the last two Rifftrax movies.  I work at a local library part time shelving books and movies and such.  Last week after Bourne was announced I went to work in the evening and the only DVD there for me to shelve was the exact copy of Bourne Identity that was riffed.  I found it coincidental and funny, but to no one but myself.  Now yesterday Independence Day was announced.  I went to work last night as usual, kind of hoping to see whether my library would propheize the movie again.  When I walked in I saw I have a lot of DVDs to shelve none of which were Independence Day so I thought, "Oh well.  It was just coincidence last week."  I go about my business and about halfway through the night I'm in the children's section shelving children's DVDs when a happen upon an adult DVD that was placed on the wrong cart.  That move was, of course, Independence Day.  Unfortunatly I'll be going back to college next week so I won't be able to see if this pattern of movie guessing continues.  I just thought you all might find it humorous.

With the recent barrage of released Rifftrax I would think they would need to reload before giving us more.  We'll probably have to wait a week or two more.

Does anyone know if they are using the "special edition" with the 9 minutes of restored scenes, or the original theaterical version?!

Normally someone asks this before I even wonder, but I couldn't find anything on it.

Also, we riffed the theatrical version, not the one that is 8 minutes longer.  The DVD with the longer version also gives you the option of watching the theatrical version though.
