I believe GregMcduck was refering to you shooting us in a fit of rage, not us shooting you.  You seem to get homicidally upset when you disagree with others.  No worries though, I get the same way when discussing the Denny's menu...
Oh please, I would never shoot a person in a fit of rage. I would at least have the decency to arm them first. For example, while I might be carrying a bazooka, I would at least make sure you were armed with a slingshot or a bb gun. That way I could at least claim self-defense.

the agenda of liking Temple of Doom?
Yeah, it's part of that Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy to like Temple of Doom.  :)
Proof that dense people even inhabit the Rifftrax forum.

I prefer the term "dim," myself.  Multi-purpose names rock.  And if liking Temple of Doom makes me an idiot, may I never score high on an IQ test again!

Screw you AND your Moons Over My Hammy!

Anger growing...Pulse rushing...Hands clenching...Fit of rage commencing....

Most of the stuff by Stanley Kubrick, actually, though Dr. Strangelove is on my top ten list of movies.

The first Spider-Man movie.   I enjoyed the second one quite a bit, but the first one was so much sound and
fury, signifying nothing.   I normally like Willem Dafoe, but his performance did nothing for me in this movie.
His ham-fisted, over-the-top cackling and vein-bulging squints made him seem more silly than scary, like
a Caesar Romero Joker.  Even more ridiculous was his costume, which looked more liked a leftover
Power Rangers villain costume than anything out of Spider-Man.  All shiny, glinty, silvery, and...not
particularly goblin-like.  If I was on a committee and he was trying to get me to back a plan to make our
soldiers wear this ridiculous-looking piece of crap with a flying surfboard, I would have booted his ass too.

Also weak was the replacement of Gwen Stacey with M.J., which of course meant that she survives what was
supposed to be her death scene, and so what was supposed to be one of the more memorable moments in
comic history is instead a few seconds of tension that is quickly dissipated.

All in all, this was a very weak comic-book movie and only barely better than Daredevil or Hulk, if at all.

No MST3K fan could really look at the movie Green Goblin and take him seriously. Why?

Did you just quote Macbeth in the beginning of your assessment of Spider-Man?  That's pretty awesome, man.

(I'd make a more... useful post in response to this, since I kind of adored this movie, but it's been a while since I've seen it, so I wouldn't be all that good a debater.  And I kind of agree with you on some of your points.)

The whole Spider Man trilogy left me feeling kinda cold. The action was fine, but the personal development/relationships/jobs/DANCING IN THE FRIKKIN BAR stuff was much too.... much.

That's another thing that bothers me... look at the Tomato rating for King Kong(2005) on Rotten Tomatoes. It is 84%, certified fresh! Now if that isn't a load of cockadookie bullfuck then I don't know what is. It was a very empty and pointless movie that didn't show or tell us anything we didn't already know about the prospect of giant apes jumping around and climbing around in a big city.

YEAH! who the hell are they to have an opinion and vote for a movie accordingly?! Commie Bastards!

The Lion King was overrated, IMO. Sure, the animation was nice, but the songs were annoying and I literally wrote the movie as I watched it. No surprises. And I've got a grudge against it for being present in nearly every facet of media for a good 6 months. I should not have had to live with "Circle of Life" rambling around in my skull that entire time for hearing it every five minutes on the radio.

I also think Forest Gump was quite overrated. Yes, it's entertaining and sweet, but I fail to see why most people consider this film to be one of the great masterpieces of the last 20 years in filmmaking.

Hah, I had totally missed that, now I will never be able to forget it!

Fellowship of the Ring
Godfather

Those spring to mind.  They were just awful movies that everyone in the world swears up and down are indisputable cinematic masterpieces.

LOL - two of my favorite trilogies.....   ;)

Anyway, I think that Titanic is the most overrated movie ever made.
Narrator: Johnny even got to the midway for a ride, but the fun didn't last nearly long enough.

Servo (as Narrator): Johnny's car rolled and burned.

Love it or hate it, Fellowship was a fairly faithful adaptation of the novel, except that it deleted the Tom Bombadil/Goldberry scene, which was really chipper and kiddy and contributed nothing to the novel anyway.   Oh, and except for the jedi force-push duel that Gandalf and Saruman had.  Other than
those things, it was a fairly straightforward adaptation.  Sure, it was "a movie about walking", but if you pick up LotR and read it, what do you find?
People walking!  Wow, what a novel idea.   So yeah, overrated movie for sure, but if you were a literate person who read the novels instead of
seeing the movie with no expectations whatsoever, you wouldn't be blindsided by how much you disliked it.

Who knows?

I knew there was a logical reason I hated Willem Dafoe's half-bug, half-robot costume.  He looks more like Iron Man's gay
Japanese rival than an insane goblin guy to me.
