I think it's safe to say that whatever any of them are supposed to be, they failed miserably.

That's a good Batman.

Anything really ticking you off right now? Wanna vent, but have no relevent thread in which to do so?

Why yes, as a matter of fact, there is something ticking me off right now: Sprint. The Cel Phone Company.

I used to have an account with them, but changed over to my parents' plan on TMobile. I was speaking with a Sprint representative to cancel the account, and she ASSURED me I was COMPLETELY up to date on my payments, and owed them NO MORE MONEY. However, I later received a bill for about $50, the normal cost for my monthly service. I called them up again, explaining that the last person I talked to ASSURED me I was COMPLETELY up to date, and owed NO MORE MONEY, so then the Sprint rep says ok, you can DISREGARD that bill. But now, Sprint says I owe them money for that last bill, and they have since added late fee after late fee, until now the bill is over $200!!! And they have also sent the bill to a collection agency. So now, I tell them over and over again my side of the story, and they say I still owe them money.

So F#*$ YOU SPRINT!!!!!!!  :grr:

See? Sprint's mission to send every single person in the entire United States to the collection agencies is well under way. The system works! ;)

You know, that sounds SO much better when it's not being heard from the other end of a call center headset.

It's good to be done with the Sprint PCS chapter of my career. :^)

I used to have Sprint, and I hated them, so I switched to Nextel.  Then I hated Nextel, so I switched to T-Mobile, which I liked a lot, but because Sprint and Nextel were both about as enjoyable as a Novocaine-free root canal, of course I had to keep dealing with them even after I'd supposedly cleared my accounts.  You can just imagine how tickled I was when I found out that Sprint and Nextel MERGED TO BECOME ONE COMPANY.  Like the world wasn't f*cked up enough, we need two horrid providers merging to become, like, one SUPER-provider, more terrible and evil than you can imagine.

And people wonder why I stick with my pay-as-you-go Virgin Mobile account....   :)

The Only reason I'm still with Nextel, is the continuous service I get while on vacation in Mexico twice a year.
(and also because I'm still getting a 15% discount from when I was working for my now former employer.  ;D)

Very cool!... Yer' actually going to be hanging out with Uncle Davver. You'll have to tell him that some of the forum members aren't impressed with his Joker costume. LOL!

Anyway, you kids have fun. And let him know that he has a fan out here in San Francisco!

Speaking ot ranting and cellphones....

What is it with these people who have to use their cellphones like walkie-talkies in public places (like stores) with the volume full blast?

And it seems like 99.9% of these same people (on both sides of the conversation) has never finished a sentence without at least two f-bombs in it.

Like the whole world wants to hear their business.   :grr:

I always wondered if that would stay on there even when I changed jobs.  Cool.

ARRRRGGGHHH!!!!!

I just heard "Mr. Blue Sky" by ELO in a Sears ad!!!

I know Jeff Lynne's been licencing his songs for ads but Sears is the Anti-Christ (the original one before Wal-Mart showed up).....!

He needs to spend more time in the US before he decides who to lease his music to.

Tyrant

On the topic of cellphones, I have a classic complaint:

When I'm checking in a patient, why must they suddenly terminate the conversation they're having with me in person so they can gab with someone on the phone???!!! I don't know where manners went, but as far as I know, the person you're actually face-to-face with takes priority over the person who's on the phone. Moreover if the person you're face-to-face with has their finger on the pulse of your health insurance and one little slip of the finger will file the charges to the wrong department.

Which, ironically, uses Sprint's network (I have VM too; me like).
