To get back the the Argh! I have to say that people who have gigantic pictures in their signatures that take up more space than their actual post are starting to piss me off... in a non-violent kinda' way. I won't kill any of you. But i'll not be held responsible for what may occur when a simple conversation ends up taking like, 15 pages!

I may have to put a bigger image in my sig just to bug you...

RVR II

Yeah Really!! F'N Rattle-Trap rice-burner exhaust that sound like the piece of Sh*t gonna explode or fall apart, one..
Just G-Naw at me!!

Chaos

Gigantic forum signatures is one of those things that really, REALLY bug me. Especially on, for example, a gaming forum, where the person has made a 700K jpg (because he's too stupid to make it a gif), with his character's picture, and stats, and a dumbass game-related post from a moderator that he is angry about because it was not delivered as promised built right into the image, that take up 3 times more room than any post he has ever made... and roughly 5 out of every 15 posts on a page are his.

It makes me very happy that my ad filtering software lets me block specific images. It makes forums like that marginally less annoying. :)

"Worrier"?

It's meant to be a play on words for allegedly humorous effect (I SWEAR!).

I admit I've mentioned something about this before but.....closed captioning on movies....     >:(

I'm watching the asteroid scene from Empire Strikes Back....which has been out since 1980....practically everyone has seen it....and a good number of us have seen it several times....

So it gets to the point where Han is running back into the cabin of the Falcon and Leia tells him, "Asteroids."

To which Han says (altogether now....), "I know."

What does the closed caption say?  "Oh, no."

Has closed captioning been farmed out to another planet where English is their third language and they're all seeing these movies for the first, freaking time?!?!?!?   Jeez!

Actually, he does say "Oh no," only in a calm, sarcastic way, as if to say, "Yeah, big deal."

Yep, his says "Oh no."

It's Lucas so the dialog is terrible.  The actors in the originals even complain about the dialog they had to read.

Then, I and everyone I ever knew in Sci-Fi fandom heard that wrong?
