filed my first noise complaint tonight. when i opened the door to let the bylaw guy take a reading, the hall reeked of weed smoke. hopefully the neighbours are the super paranoid type of stoners, and they'll keep the music down for the rest of the night.

So, I spend several hours making a video for fun, and I figure it turns out good enough to put on YouTube.  Upload it, and the sound is muted because the song is under copyright claim.

So, I decide to see if there are any other videos up that use the song and find like seven of them.  Total bullshit.
Yeah they're ridiculous when it comes to trademark/copyright infringement.. Best to just avoid any kind of background music in your videos :-X

Mrs. Dick Courier

Good lord I have a friend who has gone vegan will not STFU.  Loves to critizize what I eat.  I told her that some studies show that trees and plants can feel.  Maybe they're suffering horribly being steamed and boiled alive.  Or cut up in tiny pieces while alive?  She was stumped.

Also another pregnant friend who carries her damn ultrasound with her and thats all she talks about now.  Actually perked up today when she mentioned gardening but took less than five minutes to mention the baby kicking.  And away we were.

And my sweet little cousin is a hipster.

I am surrounded.  Help me.

When you say "sweet little" what are we talking?

Mrs. Dick Courier

well, she used to be sweet and little.  She's now 21 and I spose she can still be sweet at times.  But most of the time she just annoys me with hipsterness.

oh yeah a writer and poet, and pretty

My suspicions of her hipsterness was confirmed when she invited me to a reading of her poetry.  It was a coffee house.  I had an unwilling coffeehouse rendezvous

I still love her but the environment made me want to hurl

Does she, does she wear glasses?

All theatrical leering aside I love Hipster girls, they might be a little much at times but they're generally creative and aren't usually anything more than simply pretentious. If she ever fancies sharing her poetry I'd give it a read.  :)

Mrs. Dick Courier

yes, she wears glasses and loves to travel.  Am I playing matchmaker here?

She's won some contests for her short stories.  And placed in the Virginia Tech writng competition.  She's very good.  Wouldn't surprise me if she became famous.

Shouldn't have said anything.  So what if shes a hipster?  Shes a good person and intelligent.  I'm ashamed of myself

Now I'm all sentimental.  Sent her a message telling her how much I love her and she messages back that she loves me too and if I'm OK.  Damn it.
