Tripe

Yep she was a good Christian girl so she needed a father for her illegitimate baby. It was a couple of seasons ago.

Compound

Ah, between Ship and Tripe, I do remember that episode, "Little Big Girl".

Yeah, the setup of the fanfic and the episode are pretty similar. It might be coincidence, or I may have read a really, really early version of it. Hopefully, it's just coincidence.

Killing me won't bring back your Goddamned honey!

Tripe

Yes very good, I couldn't stand the one dimensionality of the Dursleys.

Fuzzy Necromancer

My favorite bit
QuoteHe'd had to spend another two whole days with his hated only living relatives, the Dursleys, who would rather drink frog vomit than be anything approaching pleasant with him. Harry knew this for a fact, because they'd done it on his last birthday. They'd gotten a letter and a package from Harry's headmaster at the Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry™, Albus Dumbledore, saying: "Either be nice to Harry on his birthday, or drink the frog vomit enclosed in this package." Without stopping to think, Harry's portly, pushbroom mustached uncle Vernon, Harry's thin, pointy-faced aunt Petunia, and his fat, ugly, stupid, evil, pig-like cousin Dudley drank the frog vomit straight out of the package. Harry still thought it might have been a better idea for Dumbledore to at least put the frog vomit into some kind of jar or something, rather than just pouring the stuff directly into the cardboard box like he had.

After having that 'Star Trek New Voyages' program burned onto my brain, I thought I'd try making a poll on here to determine everyone's level of geekiness devotion to their favorite science fiction or fantasy franchise.

ShadowDog

Hold your horses!  That post doesn't have a poll.
"Did she just say Chipping?"

ImOscardotcom

The can't stick it on the other topic? Maybe with a little note?

Sheik Yerbouti

Bah, shoulda searched.  Sorry.

BathTub

It's all good, polls survive the merge.

Tripe

I've read fan fiction it's generally very bad but it's ok to read sometimes.

I've never written any but if ever I write that Addams Family one I mention up thread, I'll let you know. ;)

Sorry, it's just irritating when some control freak snitch comes into a new thread with a "you didn't doublecheck every single post on the 25 pages of this forum before you dared create this post" blast.  But this worked out so it's all good. :P
