I is in Nara, Japan on a one year contract. I's alsos types on such forums at a very early hour and, thus, am open to errors to be exploited by vile spelling hawks. Rifftrax is keeping me sane in these hot, Japanese summer months.
Is that where they slaughter the dolphins?

Yeah! And just for fun... they make a day out of it with their kids.

My bad, It was in the villages of Taiji and Futo.  It is an annual event that takes place, and recently it has also been discovered that some of the dolphins that are rounded up go to marine parks due to an marked increase  in those 'swim with dolphins' programs.....

Why do I get the feeling that this guy is a vegetarian?

Okay, if I am going to make it big with the Rifftraxers I am going to need to know a few things about these forums? Who are the daily posters? Whose ass do I have to kiss? Who can be shunned? Do Mike or any other riffers ever pay a visit? Can I post nude?

EXCELLENT!!
WELCOME ABOARD!
By the way: That's a Unique Name you got there...

It's great to know an MST3K fan is in Japan.  The show's popularity knows no bounds!  I'm surprised no one has yet taken the name of Joike yet.

I really should have called myself Jet Jaguar! :p

Hey Nummymuffincocobutter,  did you feel the earthquake where you are?

I only felt it for about five seconds. It felt more like a big truck passing by outside then, say, Rosie O'Donnell on her way to the fridge. I did get a mighty blast of that typhoon, though.

That Rosie remark was Classic!! :D :D :D
I was in a 5.4 magnitude earthquake back on Jan. 1, 2004 in Acapulco, Mexico. It was Very Impressive for a moderate quake (and being my 1st ever experienced)!
Also was in Charleston, SC when Hurricane Hugo bowled into the city as a Category 4 storm back in Sept. 1989.
Anyway, Congrats on surviving both!

I've experienced a weakening hurricane that hit the Connecticut coast in 1985 and an even more rare earth tremor that rocked a garage door  but I hope to GOD I never have to  witness, never mind experience, Rosie O'Donnell!

A to the Men :p

How cool!  I'm working to complete my B.A. so I can teach English in Japan someday! *crosses fingers*

Welcome to the forum!  I'm new myself, so I've only got a small wad of confetti to throw at you, but I'll lob it all the same.
;D
