Are you sure? A friend of mine ordered something on Amazon and she complained when the price went down in less than a month. They gave her a refund.  It may be different for preorders.

Email received from Amazon stated: "Because you only pay for items when we ship them to you, you won't be charged for any items that you cancel."

Even double checked my credit card statement to confirm no charge had been placed yet.

I just ordered Hollywood After Dark  from deepdiscount which it said would be available today and Killers From Space which it said would be available on the 20th. It cost a little under $24, free shipping. Their shipping isn't always the quickest but I've never pre-ordered anything from them before. I get get my supply of 50 "Bad" movie packs from there and MST3K volumes. Not a bad site overall.

This DVD seems like a pretty big hit, they should capitalize on its success by moving up the other film crew release dates

That date of the 20th is a typo. DVDs only get released on Tuesdays and the 20th is a friday.
