No Way Up (2024) is ripe for riffing.

Colm Meaney just stands there and gives a motivational speech to our heroine as a shark eats him instead of yelling, "Get me out of here!" We know Meaney always plays meanies, but we would like to see him stick around longer.

A couple who met twenty years ago has a ten-year-old granddaughter.

Character announces that they are gay. "Oh, now you are going to survive."

Stock footage. Lots of it.

Rescue diver scopes the main characters, does not know about sharks. "Wait. Are you telling me there are like sharks in the ocean?"

Grandmother tells granddaughter to go stand where a shark attack just happened.

The guys could have fun with the teddy bear Mr. Tibbs

Rescue helicopters arrive: Well, we've got to find some surfing waves for Lieutenant Colonel Kilgore.

A shark swims right past the main character without attacking: Sorry, the plot won't let me eat you.
