First thoughts

Still enjoy Emily and this casts enthusiasm. Enjoyed the episode. Was expecting more of a ripoff of Batman but the ripoff really stopped at the costume. Going to have to watch again because the plot of the movie made almost no sense on first viewing. Maybe I missed something. Evil scientist creating fish men, but why. Then the the obsession with stopping Batwoman, but why? Batwoman discovered evil laire and then nothing, so why was she a threat?

You didn't miss anything - it just didn't make sense. Really fun, goofy movie and a good episode. Much less pervy than I thought it would be.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Goofy, but dumb fun. Like a Santo movie. Not like a Demon Squad movie. The riffed it very well.

Bad news, every time they said 'pineal gland' I flashbacked to 'From Beyond'. That is a very different movie from this one.

Liked the Emily skits. Disliked the Felicia/Patton skits.

[Iron Curtain]

This was the only episode of Season 13 I didn't like. I just thought the riffs were not that funny and I didn't like how it took so long for Emily and the bots to make a Mario joke that referenced Nintendo's mustachioed plumber when it was right there sitting waiting to be snagged.
