What did we learn?

I learned that to do a twist ending, you're not supposed to broadcast it early in the second act.  Apparently the director never learned this.
I learned that 6 inch tall paper dolls are apparently a menacing threat.
I learned that having your skin drawn from your body like thread off a spindle, and fed directly into a demonic sewing machine, is apparently not that painful.
I learned that if you start trying to have sex with a woman and she starts screaming in terror, just go with it.  There's no reason to believe she is not consenting.
