COFFY and FOXY BROWN are two of my favorites.

HELL UP IN HARLEM was okay.

You were right, Torso. Didn't even watch it all the way through.

I prefer Superfly over Shaft!  Superfly also has an excellent soundtrack too.

Is Death Promise blaxploitation? Thematically, it seems very similar. It has an asian lead but so does East Meets Watts.
