The 2019 NFL Season thread

[ihavemyreasons]

As excited as I am that the Chiefs are in the Super Bowl, I'm still going to do my best to avoid all of the hype leading up to the game. The "this player is such a great human being" stuff gets old really quick...especially when those stories are done on players that are in great players but not in fact good people.

The end of an era.

Eli Manning calls it a career after 16 seasons with the New York Giants

Patriots want Brady to decide whether he's going to re-sign with the Patriots or pursue free agency by the start of free agency in the middle of March. Here's hoping he pulls a Favre- not giving an answer, pissing off the fanbase, and then goes and plays for the Jets. (Patriots don't have a Aaron Rogers on the bench and the Jets are the Jets, so Brady can screw the Patriots and himself).

I'll be watching the Super Bowl at my parents place tonight so I might not be posting much here during the game but hope KC can pull out the victory after their 50 year drought
