MST3K- Season 12- The Gauntlet- Thread for Spoilers

The film canister slot wasn't empty. It was glowing. Not sure why though.

I liked this season a lot. I think I liked just about every change they made, especially having the two new robots play music in the theater (an underwater scene was a great choice for a musical number).

I still think they could do a bit more with Kinga's character and her relationship to Max beyond Clay and Frank redux.

My only other complaint would be to have more interaction between Jonah and the bots in the theater. They still feel like they're being filmed in separate rooms and added later.

My rankings are:

1. Close Encounters of the Third Kind (comes closest to a classic ep)
2. E.T.
3. Piranha (I like this and E.T. about the same)
4. The Abyss
5. Pacific Rim
5. Conan the Barbarian

As to my ranks

1: Killer fish
2: Day Time Stood Still
These were hands down 1-2 for me
3: Lords of the Deep
4: Mac and Me
5: Atlantic Rim
and easily the last
6: Ator

[Iron Curtain]

My List is, from worst to best:

6. Lords of the Deep
5. Ator
4. Killer Fish
3. Atlantic Rim
2. Mac and Me
1. The Day Time Ended
