Wait, I'm still here?  Well, not really, no.  I haven't been on since last year, I think.  But I still love this place, and dammit, last year beat me for the first time, I ain't gonna let it happen again!

And I do plan on doing more riffing projects, someday, for the three people left who are interested. ;)

Simple rules:
1. 31 movies, 31 days.  Starts at midnight the 1st your local time, ends Nov. 1st your local time.  Movies started before but finished after the deadline do count.
2. You can't frontload, but you can make up.  Three movies on the 1st doesn't cover the 2nd and 3rd, but three on the 3rd makes up for the 1st and 2nd.
3. Horror is subjective, but within reason.  The movie has to make an attempt to do something suspenseful or scary, not just be so awful it frightens you.  Horror comedy is fine.
4. Half-hour TV specials count.  Charlie Brown fans, this is for you.
5. Riffed versions are not only acceptable, but encouraged!
6. Movies are what count, not series.  Certain slasher series can last you the whole month, but they might get monotonous.

That's it.  Have fun!

Here! And Participating! Bwha-haha!

Anyway...

1) Stormswept (1994) (Slasher. And extremely bad film making)*

Going to try and do this again this year, I assume I'll drop off sometime next week then get overwhelmed and give up.  I'm going to expand it to include horror media so YouTube videos and stuff count because sometimes my attention span just can't handle a narrative movie.

1) Till Death.
Fun, stylish and short (88 minutes) little thriller.  There's a lot of cheese and logic gaps especially in the beginning, plus it's fairly predictable overall but the snowy setting is unique and it's pretty effective.  Callan Mulvey being in movies still feels weird to me

2) Fear Street Part 1: 1994
The music budget for this must have been huge! a few gory and inventive kills, fun twists and some interesting ideas.  Unfortunately they mostly don't really go anywhere and the characters don't have a lot of depth.

3) Kidnap
Amazingly good B-grade thriller, a very basic story but incredibly effective and well made.
