I learned that the Malta police and diplomacy departments are really very understanding and forgiving when it comes to American sheriffs running around their country breaking laws and firing weapons.

Iron Curtain

I learned that a Rifftrax riffed by exactly the same people by the MST3K crew 18 years later means 35-55% fewer stupid and degrading fat jokes. And I love the Rifftrax version even more than the MST3K episode for that!

I learned that seeing a movie that MST3k did unedited and uncut is far more interesting than I would have thought. It actually lets you see the movie and gives you a chance to enjoy both the Rifftrax and MST versions better. Not that this a good movie but I got to understand this turd a bit better.
Oh and it's odd that having the same three guys doing it eighteen years later and not doing that many current references still lead to a lot of new material.  Lines that could have been in several other Rifftrax movies "Oh hey gratuitous nudity. I'm sure you are vital to the plot". It really worked well here.
I also learned that Joe Don really wanted to be his character from Walking Tall again but forgot that had been a decade.
Fodder's just this guy, you know.

I learned that on the Greydon Clark spectrum of suck, this movie is an Oscar contender compared to Star Games.

Pastor of Muppets

I learned that a Texas police officer can go running around a foreign country running amok, harassing and killing its citizens, and he will suffer no consequences.

I learned that the Maltese police will issue an arrest warrant for a man, but after they have him in custody, just kinda let him go.

Seriously, this movie was awful  Not good awful, just boring and unpleasant.  Why couldn't ANYONE show just an ounce of basic competency?  The Maltese police, although angry at Mitchell's loose cannon tendencies, let him go over and over.  Palermo and his henchmen have Geronimo cornered and they HAVE A GUN POINTED AT HIM.  Instead of shooting him, they just kind of drag him around?  Palermo shot that motorist in Texas without a second thought, but he lets Geronimitchell live so he can.... shoot him somewhere else?

God damnit.  I hated this when it was on MST3K, but at least there it was peppered with some amusing host segments.  This rendition just felt like a drag.
I'm not particularly religious, and I don't really like Muppets, but I do love word play.
