Not familiar with his work, but from what I've heard about him, I probably would have been.

Watch the movie "Man On the Moon" with Jim Carrey.  It is not a great movie, but it does give you insight into how Kaufman really was.

Well, Mike does make his living having a smartass-type sense of humor, so I should have expected what we got.  It was a little disappointing (the podcast) because people are interested in him, what he thinks, the nuts and bolts of what it takes to make a Rifftrax,  and when Batman and Robin will finally get what's coming to it  ;)

If I appeared like I was irate or trying to start a forum rebellion, I apologize.

But do we really need another straight interview podcast?? There are a ton of those out there. How many more nuts and bolts do you need to hear about how a RIffTrax is made that hasn't been covered by any of the previous interviews/podcasts?  Goofy funny questions should be all that is asked or responded to in my opinion.

Well, after listening to the last 4 podcasts, I have been very pleased.  They have been funny and entertaining, so I will retract my bitching about the podcasts at this point.  I still hated the first one, and that was probably because I felt Mike wasn't taking his loyal fans seriously enough to do a good job, but he and Rifftrax have redeemed themselves.  What you don't realize is that I didn't want to speak up at all because I think Mike is one of the funniest people on the planet (hell, we could have been stuck with Dane Cook doing Rifftrax) and I was just disappointed with the first one.
