1109 - Yongary Monster From the Deep - Spoiler Thread

Pretty good (though not top-flight) riffing in this one.  Not sure why this one didn't tickle me more--nothing I can quite put my finger on.  Okay host segments, though I really liked the song at the end.

Just watched this for a second time. This episode is even better a second viewing! I would have to say that Season 11 (or 12 if you count the KTMA episodes) has some episodes that are more acquired tastes, or episodes that get better with each viewing.

I know what you mean about the host segments. Those need a major overhaul in Season 12 (if there is going to be one). I think the writers haven't learned how to write them yet.

I didn't mean to imply that I didn't like previous episodes' host segments. I thought they've been adequate-to-good, and occasionally very good. Just not during this episode.

An ok episode, definitely agree that the host segments were a little flat.
