I believe the Kickstarter tiers included a Blu-ray set of the first season, so unless it's a limited run for backers only, we should see a disc release in the future sometime.
One Man Band Riffs.  18 riffs, over 600 served, since 2009.

Yeah I thought I remember seeing that somewhere..
And they would only be hurting themselves financially with lost sales if they limited the release for backers only >:(

BathTub

Yeah no way they won't be available for sale for everyone.

So we can also look forward to VODs/DVDs/BluRays of the new MST3Ks in the not too distant future as well ;D

Shout Factory is a DVD/Blu-Ray company first and foremost. The new series will be getting a physical release for the general public.

Unfortunately, there will be a wait. In the comments on the Kickstarter page, Ivan Askwith said it will probably be a year after backers get them (which will be June or July).

Have you ever used Netflix? You can sign up for a free trail and watch the first season then drop it.
FINE

See, I have an ISP that polices my data usage and will send me letters when ever I go over my allotted data and threatens to charge me for overages or terminate my internet service so streaming isn't an option for me.. Hence I continue to use their DVD package and rip everything I want to see to my hard drives 8)

That sucks. Maybe go to McDonalds and use the free wifi to download a few episodes, return home to watch them, then repeat the process.

Assuming Netflix allows for offline viewing of MST3K.

Get a better ISP?
Can't.. No other ISPs are allowed to come to our area because our local ISP owns all the lines in town..
Hoping Google Fiber makes some in-roads in the next year or so :-\
