That Vikings victory was crazy.  Vikings go ahead, Saints go ahead, last chance hail Mary and a TD!  Vikings win with no time left.

Apparently gamblers in Vegas are really upset that they didn't kick the extra point after the hail Mary, it was pandemonium on the field, no way to get the players back out to kick a meaningless extra point.

Edit:  I didn't see it but apparently they did drag the players back out onto the field 20 minutes later and the Vikings took a knee, so the +5.5 point spread doesn't get beat and people that bet on the Vikings lose without that extra point, I think?

I've now seen a bunch of slowmo shots of that catch, it's pretty obvious the defender put his head down and thought the ball was going to the guy closer to the sideline and went for that guy.  That would be the more obvious play, to get the ball out of bounds in field goal range with a few seconds left, if that guy had caught the ball the game would have been over, instead it went to the guy a yard farther away from the sideline.  Big mistake not to play the ball all the way.

Vikings vs. Eagles next Sunday night, should be a hell of a game...

AFC/NFC Championship games today
Hoping the Jaguars can upset the Patriots at home and I think the Eagles can hold off the Vikings.. We'll see

Philly is putting Crisco on the lamp posts in case the Eagle win, to prevent people from climbing them.

Vikings fans dressed the rocky statue in vikings colors, I guess there are a lot of them in town, hope there are only a few fights, unlikely that there would be no fights.

I'm heading over to NJ now, so will be driving by the statium, kickoff isn't until 6:40 so hopefully when I'm driving back around 4 there will not be much traffic.

The parking lots around the stadium were full when I drove by at 2, and the smell of all the grills going was pretty good.

Coming back just now they had closed the ramps from the highway and 95 was backed up but I avoided that by going through the city north of the stadium area and getting on 95 by the airport.

Just turned on the TV and can't believe Jacksonville is leading.

They've played a great game overall except for a couple costly penalties before the 1/2..
Now the Patriots are down by 3 with plenty of time left to go ..
