Rumor has it that the Panthers are getting concerned that quarterback Cam Newton is physically breaking down. If Newton continues to show signs of his body breaking down, Panthers may consider looking at other quarterback prospects.
Panthers have an option after next season which could save them 35 million.

Ugh.. This could be a rough week 4 for both my teams..
The Panthers play the Patriots in New England
& the Bills play the Falcons in Atlanta..

Maybe I should do some yard work instead :-\

Stillers did much better than I was expecting them to in Baltimore.

Jets pick up a win in OT.

This is a strange away game for the Eagles, there must be more Eagles than Chargers fans in the little stadium in LA.  Loud chants for defense when the Eagles are on D, louder cheers when the Eagles make stuff happen on offense.

Interesting fact: Since 2003, the New England Patriots were 26-1 in October home games started by Tom Brady.

The Carolina Panthers didn't care. >:D

Titans Sign Terrible QB Brandon Weeden Over Colin Kaepernick:

Brandon Weeden is a terrible quarterback.  If you don't think so, I'd hate to break it to you, but you don't know much about football.

After being drafted by the Cleveland Browns in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Weeden went on to play just five season with three different teams (Browns, Cowboys and Texans), before being cut by Houston before the 2017 season.  In 34 career appearances (25 starts), the 33-year-old has complied 31 touchdowns, 30 interceptions, a completion percentage of 57.9%, and a 76.0 quarterback rating.

Those are bad numbers.  Like, Brock Osweiler bad.  By comparison, Osweiler has 26 touchdowns, 22 interceptions, a 59.9 completion percentage, and a 77.4 quarterback rating in 36 career games (21 starts).

So yeah, Weeden sucks.  But with Marcus Mariota questionable for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins (hamstring), the Tennessee Titans are still expected to sign Weeden to back up Matt Cassel in case Mariota can't go.

Were there better options available for the Titans?  Many people seem to think so, and the name that's been coming up the most is Colin Kaepernick.

Sure, Weeden could end up getting cut by the weekend if Mariota is deemed healthy enough to play.  And maybe the Titans didn't want to bother signing Kaepernick if they knew they'd probably be getting rid of him in a few days (or a week, max).

O.J. Simpson is out of prison?

Yes, he was paroled last week I think.

I can't believe he's served 9 years for his 2008 conviction.  Where does the time go?

I just read that his mid-90s murder trial lasted 11 months.  That can't be right.  I am positive it lasted AT LEAST 8 years.
