What makes a good movie?

You raise some interesting points.  Nice post, Pak.  For me, what makes a good movie is that after the film ends, I feel good about spending time in it's company.  That's really my only criteria, as attempting to watch every movie ever made gives one a wide perspective on what can be deemed "good".
