It was announced a while ago that the director of The Transporter and Transporter 2, Louis Leterrier, is directing The Incredible Hulk.

Cool.  I suspect it will be the polar opposite of the first one in terms of action, then.

Unleashed was okay I suppose, would've much preferred someone of a similar vein to Lee.  'Action' directors seem to make the worst superhero movies.

Usually Edward Norton is good in anything.  He's one of my favorite actors.  So, I may actually watch this movie when it comes out.

The main problem with the first Hulk movie was the same thing wrong with Godzilla (1998).  You go to a Godzilla movie to watch him destroy Tokyo, and you want to go to a Hulk movie to watch him smash things.  There was not near enough of that in either film....but I do have to say that ang Lee's offering wasn't a total loss.  I really did enjoy how the split screens he was using gave the movie a real comic book feel.

Pak-Man

I'm gonna take a bold step and say that the Hulk was actually really good, it just wasn't what anyone really wanted. :^)

It improves greatly on second and third viewings

Ang Lee's Hulk wasn't as terrible as some say, but that splitscreen bullshit drove me crazy. It just goes to show that Lee had no idea what makes comics work. "Ah, people want to see multiple images at one time." No, dipshit. This is a movie - you can only look at one panel at a time, not three or four. Some of the dissolves were very nice, but it feels like you're trying to watch two movies at once, especially when the split panels aren't synched up.

And can anyone tell me what the frack happened at the end with Absorbing Dad? Way to waste a perfectly interesting villain with undefined power and motivation.

I thought it was nice of the military to put the hulk and absorbing dad right next to some power cables.     Hmmmm, nothing bad can happen here.

I AM THE THREAD REVIVER!!!!
QuoteFirst Marvel announced that the trailer for "The Incredible Hulk" will debut early March, with the assumption that it will be shown in front of "Doomsday." Then SuperheroHype added that Universal will also show the trailer during ShoWest next week. Now we have the official word from Universal, which confirms both announcements and more.

According to the studio, the first teaser trailer will have its exclusive broadcast debut simultaneously on seven networks on Wednesday, March 12th. To catch it, tune in either to MTV, MTVU, MTV2, VH1, Spike TV, Nick at Nite or CMT at approximately 9:56 pm EDT/6:56 pm PDT.

Immediately after, the trailer will show up online, including WorstPreviews.com, before finally appearing in theaters on March 14th in front of "Doomsday."

once online, I'll put it on here

Don't make me Ang Lee. You wouldn't like me when I'm Ang Lee.

My only complaint about this new film is no Sam Elliott. I was very disappointed when I heard he wasn't in this one. William Hurt looks the part very well though.

If I understand it right, the reason why it's a completely different cast is this is supposed to have no connection with the previous film.

I think the first one may have ruined this for me.  And I wasn't one of the people who was pissed at the look of the Hulk, the movie was just awful.  I might watch it, but I don't think I'll be getting excited.

it could be good all they got to do is the opposite of everything they did in the other one.  cant be too hard.
