ok then

can thor be both a good person and a pretengious putrid fool?

heh

Pak-Man

He can, and he is. :^)

Norse legend seems to portray Thor in one of two ways.

1) Butt-Kickin' Man's Man who every Man oughtta wanna manage to be.
2) Idiot who can't solve any problem that doesn't involve hitting things with his hammer. (Read ANY Norse legend where Thor's hammerless. :^))

There's the one where he drinks the entire ocean.

Maybe thor is like brain guy, the further he is from his hammer/brain pan the dumber he is.

Sharktopus

Nope. Thor's always dumb. Wise, but slooooow.

Christianity is still practiced by about a third of the planet.

I trust you have a source to cite for that. And, by "trust," I mean "not even a little."

Thor is like most boys with big muscles.  Nice to look at, good to have around (well, maybe less so."Could you open this bottle honey?" [smashes jar of pickles with hammer] "Well, it IS open now I guess?") but not much for conversation.

I think blonde is the perfect hair color, even if it is wrong.  It's the 'roids.   :D
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

MisterRiffley

you know, i'm beginning to suspect that some of that information in uncyclopedia about wicca might not be entirely accurate.

Notice how I stayed out of this?  Aren't you proud of me?

Seems kinda petty to call this into question when the actual point is that Christianity is the most widely spread and practiced religion in the world, despite a whole lotta bad press over the millenia, but here it goes, anyway.

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2006/10/06/the_odd_body_religion/
http://www.adherents.com/Religions_By_Adherents.html

About 2.1 billion adherants, which is approximately 1/3 of the world's population.  I'm sure that figure includes people who are not very strict adherants and those who claim to be Christian, but don't really follow the tenants, but it's still what they claim to be...

On a side note, there is still hope for mankind, as even Rastafarianism, a rather strange religion practiced almost solely in the Carribean, has more adherants than Scientology.

RobtheBarbarian

Maybe you didn't get the message.

THOR!

Thor is my hero. He's the icon of stiff-upper-lip and breaking things that make you angry. If it doesn't involve smashing things, drinking or... smashing things, it's not worth one's time. The people who dislike you will never care how smart you are or what your solutions to your problems are anyway, so it's better to just crush their face and make yourself feel better.

Fuzzy Necromancer

You know, "Pagan" seems like a pretty clumsy terminology, since the actual denotation of the word is "non-christian".

Yeah, but that's pretty much how it feels in America these days. You're either Christian, or you're a godless heathen.
