Sakurai giving us the important details in character design, like how the bottom of the feet should look.

Yuzo Koshiro goes full Gradius II..

Pyra/Mythra is such a fun character to play. It's like if they executed Melee Zelda/Shiek properly. Mythra racks up damage quickly with amazing frame data and speed, and every move Pyra has is a kill move. The switching feels fluid, too. The balance changes also shifted the competitive meta(as much as there is one during COVID) a LOT. All in all, this was a great patch.

Took me two and half years, 10 DLC characters, and a lot of rage, but Sword Waifu Duo has gotten me into Elite Smash for the first time. Love this character. Play smart with Mythra to rack up percent, and then touch them hehehe fire sword go brrrr

And my hopes for Shantae as a playable character are dashed. It could still happen, I suppose, but the decision to make a Mii costume out of her seems to indicate that it's not in their current plans.

Chrome was a Mii Costume, and I think Kazuya was, too? Mii costumes definitely don't deconfirm

Wasn't Heihachi the Mii costume?

Ah, you're right. I never know because I basically ignore the mii costumes.

It's Sora! Never got into Kingdom Hearts, but there's an alternate universe where I went all-in. It's got Disney and Square which is hypothetically the perfect peanut butter/chocolate combo, but the series started about the same time I was getting ready to get married, which was an especially low-video-game era in my life, so I just never had time to dive in.

But hold on! The Kingdom Hearts games are coming to Switch, too! Maybe it's not too late!
