Still seeing that all over Facebook. Rikk Wolf posted a giant diatribe against the movie. Its all about how he feels that the movie itself is sexist because every man in it is an idiot or an asshole or both.

I thought about that, then thought back to the original movies. If there was a character in more than a single scene they pretty much fall into four groups. 1. Ghostbusters, 2. Close associates/clients/employees of the Ghostbusters. 3. Idiots, 4. Assholes.

He overreacted to Venkman, but Venkman was pushing him hard. Peck's biggest mistake was not listening to Egon once he was finally face to face with him.

You can easily play that game with the female characters in every other movie ever.  Maybe not asshole, but sex slave is sure a common one.

Member 1: Well, our plan is not working out the way we want.  People are going out to see the movie.
Member 2: Yes, we need a new plan to show the world our hate of the film, STAT!!!!
Member 3: Well, instead of making posts about the film, why don't we aim for a different target?
Member 4: Well, we can do a hate campaign, like what we did with Leslie Jones earlier this year, but this time amp it up a few notches.
Member 5: Yes, let's do that.  Let's make vile and racist tweets against Leslie Jones and fake some tweets making it look like they came from her.  We can't fail!

(They all then go "Bwah-hah-hah", twiddles their mustaches, and rubs their hands together evilly)
