Man... I dunno about you guys anymore. You love to have a debate, but when a challenging 20 questions comes along, no one is up for it. I am disappointed in my fellow riffaholics.

I think you confuse challenging with long-winded.

Man, and I LOVE being long-winded. These games now fall on my last break so I'll only be able to take part in the first 15 minutes or so. Hopefully I can get a good one in before I go. :^)

The alternating post count part seems fine, but honestly Tolkeinesque prose doesn't come all that easily- do you mean just broadly medieval? Because I don't really remember a whole lot in the way of rambling compliments in Lord of the Rings. Le Morte D'Arthur, sure, but not Lord of the Rings.

Just a rambling medieval prose would be fine, I think. We're not going to penalize you if it doesn't sound "Tolkien-y" enough. Some of us never read Tolkien so we wouldn't know if you were even accurate.

Hmm... nope. I asked if the questions were too hard and I got a "Yes they are." From Isaac, who I've seen join in many a debate around these parts, of all people. Come on, sir Isaac, for the fate of RiffTopia is at hand!

Just use lots of descriptive words i.e.
"the grass is green" = BAD
but
"The grass was such a luscious vibrant green that creatures would frolic on it for it did amaze them so with it's subtle mixture of the primary colours of yellow and blue"  = GOOD

'don't use one word when 19 will do'... I think that was Tolkein's moto...
