The Doctor is in, and he's less canonical than ever! Yes, Grand Moff Peter Cushing is back in this follow-up to fan favorite Dr. Who and the Daleks. Those cheerful, not-at-all-soul-crushingly-annoying Daleks have come to Earth, and they've brought along the longest, most ridiculous movie title in Rifftrax history. Luckily, the fate of the human race is safe in the hands of Dr. Who (an elderly human, not alien, no powers, possibly not even a doctor), his young granddaughter, and the menagerie of other people he's chosen to recklessly endanger this time.

The Doc and his crew of allies/victims travel to 2150 AD for reasons that are, somehow, seriously, never explained. Once there, they find humanity dominated and subjugated by a race of heartless authoritarian overlords - so, y'know, a big bold departure for Doctor Who and sci-fi stories in general.

Will they save Earth? Will the title get any longer? Will our dashing hero get home in time for Matlock? Join Mike, Kevin, and Bill to find out in Dr. Who: Daleks etc. etc. so on and so forth AD!

Since when did this movie get "Dr Who" stuck on the front of the title? No wonder it looks too long!

Definitely the better of the Cushing Who movies, though; it has decent actors!

Since people these days need to be beaten over the head with information before they make a connection to something familiar. Get off my lawn!

Downloading now. I was literally at Barnes and Noble in the Sci-Fi section and was saying "Jeez, Doctor Who is EVERYWHERE! What's the deal with that?" when my iPhone beeped at me with a notification from YouTube that said "New RiffTrax Video: Dr. Who: Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D. (Sample.)"

My sister is a big Doctor Who freak. I think I'm gonna burn this and Dr. Who vs. the Daleks onto a DVD for her for Christmas.

The Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special was three weeks ago, and its DVD was just released this week. To celebrate, Barnes and Noble is having a 50% off all British TV sale until next Monday, and displaying it extra-prominently.

I did a happy dance when I saw this. First, I really NEED to see a new riffrax this weekend. Second, it's a movie from the 60's. Third, it has Peter Cushing. Fourth, the first one was one of the better riffs of the year.

In the opening segment, I think Kevin and Bill would have been justified in hoping that Daleks would not appear in the movie had the title been "Daleks' Wild Ride" or "Dalek Rescues Batman."

What, no comments during the scene with the red robot and the gold robot?
I survived the San Diego Comic Con 2010 Hall H stabbing.

Do I need to watch the first one in order to follow this one?  I could never get past the frame problem on the last one so I have not seen it.

No, you totally don't. The stupid guy from the first movie TOTALLY DISAPPEARS like Megan Fox in Transformers 3 or Heath Ledger in the Dark Knight Rises. No explanation, just PFFT. Gone.
