Let this battle of studios commence! Which company will come out on top? Only you can choose! Scary huh :speechless:

Each one has its merits but who does put out the best, most high quality flims on a regular basis. Discuss and argue as well :)

Snowhead the Blue Reindeer gave me all the presents in the world.

Odd question.  I think even though they haven't made many great movies lately 20th Century Fox is a studio I like.  The only reason I'm picking them is that they seem to honour their back catalogue more than the other studios, producing really fine DVD releases of their classics.  Plus they have a great film noir line.

Blueguy

tough one.  Gotta think it through for a while.  I've already written off New Line for how they're handling the whole LOTR/Peter Jackson thing and the Hobbit.  Universal is a no for me because of the exclusive support of HD DVD.
I like Lions Gate for being able to make some quality movies for cheap, but there's too many non-quality cheap movies.

Minnesota

Lions Gate, Fox would be a good choice too

Just went with my gut and the movies I tend to like the most seem to open with the Warner Bros. logo.  Just a litmuss test though.

I've seen the paramount logo on my favorites more often than not, so I voted that way.

If Disney doesn't get Pixar, can't Pixar get its own vote? :^)

Trufire

Can't do that since Pixar is now owned by Disney. Since the newset Pixar/Disney movie hasnt' beeen released yet, you can't tell if it is going to be good. Hence why the "other" vote ;) So many studios, I just tried to get as many of the big ones as I could.

I pick MGM Because they were the big cheeses back when a production company used to MEAN something.

Blueguy

Went with Warner Bros, but I think Fox is pretty close.  I just can't remember anything from Paramount or MGM lately.

the long undertow

I do notice that Lions Gate seems to be willing to do movies that other studios aren't, but from memory, I think I have more WB movies in my DVD collection than anything else.

I'm pretty sure he's a one-handed typer....   ;)

People still give a crap about what studio bankrolled a movie? It's not the '40s.
