The first Austin Powers was good because it was original and had lots of character/inner charm.
The other two just seemed to play off the first and even though they were entertaining, you still didn't feel as good about them as the first.

I think this was a very under-rated movie as well.   Hopefully he can make more films where he does not feel he has to be manic the whole time.

I really liked the first Austin Powers, but to me, the next too were nothing but extended "oh, I have nuts in my crap" jokes.
