Who can say what manner of agreements that Legend may have come to terms with the respecive copyright holders?

They no doubt have several thousands of pounds of lawyers to duke it out in any case.

I assume your talking the DAP DVD of Lost Continent? Does it still have the glitch in the beginning with the first commercial break?

Last thing for now. All this talk about guest riffers has got me thinking...why not do a fan submitted riff contest? Where after the next movie is announced fans can watch that movie and submit some riffs, maybe a maximum of three or five. You have a basic feedback system set up on the site where you put the time code and all the information needed about the riff and include the full riff you want to submit. Then the fan who gets there riff or riff's used maybe gets that rifftrax for free or a tshirt or a box of cheerios....
Then maybe once a year Mike can do a major contest where people submit audio riff's and the best person gets to do a rifftrax with Mike....that may be tough to do but I am sure would get A TON of attention for the site.

Thats all I have right now.....hope some one likes my idears.

It is exciting that they acted on it however.

It has come to my attention that there are some people who really hate viral marketing.  Some one posted those campaign adds over at something awful under the user name of rifftraxlover.  The other members ripped him apart and he was eventually banned. 

At first I couldn't understand why they hate it so much, but after reading some of their posts it makes sense.  Having people payed by a company to post advertisements in your forums ruins the honest discussion over things that people really like.  In this instance it was probably just a Round Table member, but they don't have any way to discern that.

So be more careful if you are going to spread the word about Rifftrax.  Either be honest when you are advertising or don't have your user name be rifftraxlover.
