Ninjas don't kill people, Pat Morita playing a ninja kills people.

1) Did Rifftrax acquire the rights to present Roadhouse?

2) Will Riff-Labz files be downloadable?

Very cool!

Does this mean they will be doing a regular show that riffs on trailers, film clips, you tube clips and the such?

That is the plan :)  Well, I should say, one of MANY.

So it's a commercial?

A fair criticism. I heard Ralphie's voice in my head. Sorry about your decoder ring.

It is more of an "announcement" but in this case, something we will use as promotion also. Twice the value, half the fat!

Torgos, you mean this is going to be a thing that's regularly on YouTube?   Can you clarify what you mean by "show"?  Maybe there will be a Rifftrax TV show sometime!  Am I getting carried away?   Anyway, very excited that there are many plans in the works!!  And thanks for the Ralphie reference--the amount of buildup to this was roughly equivalent to Ralphie's.

g4 would proably do a rifftrax show

So what have we learned?  (Other than the fact that computer animation apparently adds about 15-20 pounds ..to your head!)

I like the idea, should be a good way to get the word out, not to mention its pretty cool looking... I liked the idea of suggesting it to adult swim, gonna go create an account

1. Yes.

2. Not a regular show but something that may pop up on occasion. 3D animation does take some time.

3. I wish.

4. Maybe.

I would like to see Mike and others riff on YouTube videos, which carry much less of a copyright burden than something like Road House. Again this is why we have a new "RiffLabz" area - to test out ideas and get feedback on them. If people love it then that's good to know for future reference.

Fantastic job guys! I think it looks great. I can't wait to see more.
Aaahh! This movie just throws you violently into the next scene!

Douglin

I like it, hope we get to see more like it.

But where will Kevin and Bill sit when they visit? I guess you could give them recliners in between Mike and Dis so that their heads are a bit further down the screen.

So is there a chance of this becoming a "semi-regular" video-podcast thing that could end up on itunes?

Inv8r_BILLY

Hmmm....interesting, if a bit "floaty".  Definitely cool to see some kind of face to the voices.  I actually am an animator - where do I apply?  Are you guys producing this in-house, or is it being farmed out.

mrbasehart

It was pretty awesome! I noticed that Dis was involving himself a lot more than in the original Road House trax.  I can't see this ever becoming something that we could watch an entire movie with (unless it's a public domain one for a Rifftrax Complete), but it's a cool little extra for the preview clips and any short films the guys might do in the future.

AmandaGal

Not exactly what I was expecting.  I was expecting more of a host segment type thing with a live Mike and an animated Dis.

I honestly think this would work better with a live Mike but it's still a good ad for Rifftrax. Mike can still have my kidney and all (in reference to my sarcastic post back on page 52).
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?
