Yep. If you win the category you get a "win" point.  Top 6 teams in wins go into a playoff bracket at the end of the season.

Forwards/Defensemen Stat Categories:   Goals (G), Assists (A), Plus/Minus (+/-), Penalty Minutes (PIM), Powerplay Points (PPP)
Goaltenders Stat Categories:   Wins (W), Losses (L), Goals Against Average (GAA), Save Percentage (SV%), Shutouts (SHO)

Ah, okay. I did one of those in basketball a few years back - stopped doing it due to lack of interest from others.

My brother lives in Seoul, and was never a huge hockey fan (granted, he got into it a bit when the Sabres were contending in the late 90s), but I was amused when he visited home last year during the NHL playoffs and found he'd really gotten the bug due to the fantasy league he was in with friends.

Now he posts photos from one of the IIHF Division II events Seoul hosts.

I thought the bracelets were to honor Ed Snider, and it was really poor taste to be throwing them, but I guess they were just light up things for the pregame light show.

It was a blowout game, let the fans throw junk on the ice...  I didn't hear of any players complaining, just broadcasters and Washington fans, any hockey player that complains about getting hit by a falling rubber bracelet should be laughed out of the league...

The NHL is expanding to Vegas in 2017, baby. Might need to find an excuse to head to Vegas to catch a game.  The last time I was there, I think the Wranglers were still in operation.
