Doctor Who?

One thing that bugged me about the movie.

The graphic novel just showed you what happened and left it up to the readers to decide who was good and who was bad,the movie seemed to be trying to tell you who was good and who was bad.

Also I thought the headline about Regan at the end of the book was a hopeful sign about history returning to it's proper course,in the movie it just seems like a pointless and date jab at a man who is dead.

It's like taking a jab at Hitler, what's the point he is dead.

Also why did Nixon have such a fake nose?

I had to hold myself back from laughing every time he was on screen.

Who did you feel it was trying to tell you was the good guy? I though it was pretty ambiguous.

The Nixon face was terrible.
FINE

Doctor Who?

Well in the end when Night Owl beats up Ozzy and makes a speach that wasn't in the book and I felt like the movie was trying to tell us out and out Ozzy was a villain.

why confirm that Ozzy was gay,I like it better when he may have been or it may have just been one of Rorschach's insane rants.

I sorta prefer the Redford remark, just seems funnier to me.

And they confirmed Ozzy was gay? I must not have been paying attention when that happened.

Doctor Who?

Oh OK.

The headline on the News Paper said RR to run in 88 I just assumed that meant Regan since all the other world leaders in the book had been real world leaders so fare.

It's in the credits.

It's very quick but they show him in some gay pride event or some such.

There was a shot of him outside Studio 54 I think.

Studio 54 was an exclusive club, not necessarily a gay club:

Though they did have gay nights.

Yeah, nothing conclusive, just a possible hint.  Just pointing out what I think the Doc's talking about.

I just watched the credits:

http://www.businessinsider.com/watchmen-opening-credits-are-on-the-internet-forever-now-clip-2009-3

and I'm afraid that it's a HINT at best.

He is at Studio 54 and after having his photo taken he shakes a dudes hand.

There is no way that's a confirmation, it's still as hinted at as in the book.

Moral Ambiguity is a big thing in the book, but I, personally, thin Ozy is a bad guy. What he did was sad and wrong. I would rather get blown up by an A-bomb than let some random douche decided what I should and should not do

Well, yeah, but I think they show that Ozzy wasn't happy about doing what he did, and that he felt he was doing it "for the greater good" and so, whether you agree with his actions or not, I think he is kind of heroic.

Missguided? Maybe?

Right? Probably not.

Really? I must say I find that very surprising. Kinda childish, too.

Yeah, I must say, for all its problems, existence is pretty nice.
