So much talk about what people can and can't control during this power phrase. It kind of feels like an AA meeting

"NFL, who run Superdome?"

There's talk that the choice to have the Superbowl in NJ next year might kill the half time show.  Since they can't be guaranteed good weather to set up everything needed in the time required, and it will probably be very cold.

So yay!  Maybe we can have a normal half time, bring back the marching bands!  And cheerleaders!  They don't need millions of dollars of stages and lights....

Did we just get a Corn Kolb ???

Sources: Bills, Kolb Agree To Deal

John Clayton discusses the Bills' reported deal with Kevin Kolb and the affect it will likely have on their draft strategy.

The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a two-year deal worth a maximum of $13 million with quarterback Kevin Kolb, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Saturday night.

Members of the Bills' brass spent last weekend with Kolb, and then hosted Kolb in Buffalo for a visit on Thursday and Friday.

WalkerThe Bills are merely spinning their wheels by signing Kevin Kolb, who is not Buffalo's quarterback of the future and a questionable option for the present, James Walker writes. Blog

The move gives the Bills another starting-caliber QB after they released Ryan Fitzpatrick earlier this month. Tarvaris Jackson, re-signed to a one-year contract earlier this offseason, had been the only experienced quarterback on Buffalo's roster.

Kolb was released by the Arizona Cardinals earlier this month after the sides were unable to reach an agreement on a restructured contract.

Thanks to injuries and unsteady play, Kolb appeared in just six games with the Cardinals last season, throwing for 1,169 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions.

Kolb, 28, threw for 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in two seasons with Arizona after being acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a 2007 second-round pick of the Eagles.

Seattle Seahawks backup quarterback arrested on DUI suspicion.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000204809/article/seattle-seahawks-qb-josh-portis-arrested-on-suspicion-of-dui

QuoteSeattle Seahawks quarterback Josh Portis will be arraigned May 28 for allegedly driving while intoxicated after being arrested earlier in the month.

The Seattle Times first reported Portis' arrest Monday.

Portis was pulled over on May 5 for allegedly speeding when a Washington State Patrol officer reported noticing "a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle" and that the driver "had watery bloodshoot eyes." In the arrest report obtained by NFL.com, the officer stated Portis admitted to drinking tequila earlier. When asked what day it was, Portis told the trooper "Cinco de Mayo."

Portis later submitted to two breath tests and registered blood alcohol concentration readings of 0.092 and 0.078, according to the police report. The legal limit in Washington state is 0.08.

Portis was re-signed by the Seahawks in April to a two-year contract with a base salary of $480,000 in 2013 and expected to compete with Brady Quinn and Jerrod Johnson for the backup job behind Russell Wilson.

Portis, 25, has yet to play in a regular season NFL game.

Bob

I am willing to bet there were a LOT of drivers that day that could have gotten pulled over.

Since you're a PSL Owner for the Rams and all, do you think you might come across someone with connections for a couple of Super Bowl tickets in 4 years??  ;D
