I just finished and I thought it was a great rifftrax.  I've seen the movie before and I admit that I didn't hate it.  It is very generic sci-fi cloney stuff but I thought it was entertaining.

The riffs were hilarious though.  I'm noticing that they're better if I enjoy the film which means I wish for Mike to rip all my favorite movies to shreds! Aeon isn't a fave though or even one I own. Very fun trax though!
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

Thats PRECISELY how ive felt since roadhouse.  If the movie has SOME redeeming qualities it makes for a much better day.

Well two of my fav Rifftrax are Battlefield Earth and Lord of the Rings, so I can go to either extreme. :^) When the movie's really really bad, the Riffing's really really good. When the movie's really really good, the Riffing's really really good. Can't lose. :^)

This movie committed the unforgiveable sin of movies: it was boring. The jokes were good, but I the movie was still incredibly boring. Boring plot, boring actors, lame fight scenes ripped off the Matrix...this movie was just hell to sit through. On MST3K I also found that the more boring the movie was, the less enjoyable the episode. You can give me movies that are as terrible as you want, as long as the jokes are funny I'll enjoy them. But if the movies are boring, I'll just want to slit my wrists before its over, no matter how good the jokes are.

macleod

Well, I think the boring doesn't matter as much after you've seen it once. Then you listen more for the jokes, since you already know the movie's plot (or lack thereof).

Tyrant

Thought the movie was okay. Pak and I gave it a go before the riff was out. I have to say it goes a bit more smoothly that way. The riffing was awesome. We cracked up at the level 9 of Myst joke. Killer.

macleod

Oh yeah, the Myst joke was classic...I remember hating the crap out of that game after I'd finished it. Back in the 90s it was like the most advanced thing ever....because all it consisted of were friggin interactive pictures...

You're in luck, macleod:

It never ends  >:D.

I didn't see anything about fight mechanics in the online game. I was going to recommend some of us Rifftrackers starting a band of marauding thugs using Avatars from our favorite movies - Neo, Aeon, Therg (or whatever Travolta's alien name was) and, of course, Dalton. Ah well.

take care, and God speed  ;)

A consistent laugh from beginning to end. And the riffs were extremely clever and well thought out.
No perpetual agreement this time around. This one is a knockout punch. Not quite the legendary bout like STV or Road House, but close behind.

I was disapointed. They didn't change the movie title in the readme this time. :^)
