My favorite movie going in, one of my favorite Riffs coming out.  Excellent!  I say 9.

I think Memento is one of the best movies out there, but it is so dark that I haven't watched very often.  (I bought it after I saw a clip of the "Now what am I doing?  Oh, I'm chasing this guy" scene, which made me think it would be more fun to watch.)

I think that the RiffTrax for it is really well done.  I also really appreciate that it lightens the tone of the movie a little, making it more re-watchable.

Wow, I finally watched this riff and the movie for the first time. I came on here expecting a lot of posts trashing the film...but no.

This movie was truly awful, a piece of real crap. They squandered a decent idea (solipsism. the importance of memory) with the lamest type of late night cable pseudo-film noir story line, poor directing (now I want to see the other Nolan's riffed since he obviously no originality whatsoever), bad acting (why was the lead a Sears catalog model?), etc. etc. And I saw the ending/beginning spiral thing coming a mile away.

As a riff, the last half dragged because they went too easy on the film, I think. I was wishing for the main character to get killed, it was all so annoying.

Some great jokes though and overall I enjoyed it and laughed a lot. Gave the riff a 7.
