There are two sides to Tim and Eric. I love their Local Access Television visuals and surrealistic humor, but when they decide to go for the gross-out humor... I'm not totally opposed to gross-out humor but maybe it's possible to be too good at it? It's OK in 15 minute doses, but I don't know if I could take a full movie-sized dose of their humor.

Ditto.

When they miss, they miss big, but when they hit.... Boy howdy do they hit it.  Mostly, their songs were the best part of their show.... specifically when it just felt out-dated (like Sports!)

The other best parts of their show were just the cameo appearances by people.  I usually liked the bits WITHOUT Tim and Eric more than with.

They did a good live show though,

I actually think the Cinco stuff is some of their best.  In many ways it's pretty straight forward commercial spoofs with some of their regular oddness thrown in.

My favourite: "It's not Jackie Chan."

Pumpers like to pump.

Tumblers are better than pumpers.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

It's time for overanalysis!

Not likely to change anybody's mind about Tim and Eric, but it does help explain things if you don't understand how anybody could possibly find them enjoyable.

i can get how others find them funny, most likely with enough mind altering drugs to make charlie sheen say "wow thats hardcore", i just dont find it funny.

Good article.  Comedy can be really hard to explain (and often shouldn't be to rob humour of it's power) but I like the idea of someone spending that much time on explaining a show.  I'm actually doing something similar for Adventure Time, which I plan to make the first episode of a podcast.

"What's your dad like? Wanna meet that dad!"

I love the show and can't wait for the movie. You really need to be familiar with poorly made amateur videos to appreciate the show's satire. For someone who isn't, I totally understand not finding it funny.

Wouldn't that be "where are Wujing and Zhu Bajie"? Also I don't know.
